Why visit
- Set aside an hour for a focused facial or body massage, or make this a longer spa break with head or foot care. This Daechi spa builds its menu around red-ginseng products. Formerly SPA 1899, it now uses the name SPA 1978 for bookings.spa1978+4
One focus, or a longer combination?
- For a shorter appointment, the official Single Care menu lists Body Focus and Foot Focus at 60 minutes, and Facial Focus at 60 or 90 minutes. Facial + Foot Focus combines those two areas in 90 minutes. Choose by the areas you want included and the time you want to spend.spa1978
Head care or more body time?
- Within Multi Care, Balancing offers face + head or body + head for 120 minutes. Slow-Aging includes face + upper body or body + feet for 120 minutes. Both also list face + body for 150 minutes. These are programme names; compare the included areas rather than expecting a promised skin result.spa1978
Comfort, with a preference worth discussing
- In a Klook review dated 29 October 2025, Cheung described the shop as comfortable. A 19 March 2025 review by Lim said their Slow-Aging session gave more time to body massage, while they preferred the facial massage. If the facial is your main reason to book, ask how your chosen programme divides the time.Booking site
Plan the room and arrival
- Going together? The spa says it has one couple room, so request it when reserving. Its FAQ suggests arriving ten minutes early for a first-visit consultation; robes, slippers and disposable undergarments are provided in the treatment rooms.spa1978+1
